In the morning, you will depart by local transport from your hotel in Bangkok. Your destination for today is Bangrak. Bang means village and Rak love, so this area is also called the love district. After a short walk, you'll stop at the first restaurant. Take it from us that we will try the local speciality here. Next, you'll pass a local fruit market where you can pick up some fruit. Not far from here, you'll visit a 200-year-old Buddhist temple. The temple has recently been renovated and features a small reclining Buddha.
Walking a little further into one of Bangkok's oldest districts, the guide treats you to the next treat. After passing the Catholic Assumption Church and the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel, take the ferry to cross the Chao Praya River. On the Thonburi side of Bangkok, it's time to try (for instance) the traditional som tam.
You return by river boat and finish the tour with coffee or juice, and a typical Thai dessert at Panlee Bakery. After this, you will return to your hotel by local transportation.
