- Enjoy the most beautiful waterfalls of Thailand
- Visit an elephant sanctuary. Here you can help feeding them
- Walk on the famous Bridge over the River Kwai
One of the most fun, best and varied day tours from Bangkok for travellers of all ages. You head to Thailand's most famous waterfalls, Erawan Falls in Kanchanaburi. In this national park the water falls 1,500 meters down through 7 plateaus. The further up you walk, the more difficult it becomes. At least try to reach plateau 5, which we personally like best. Don't forget your swimwear, as it is great to cool off in the clear water after the climb.
After lunch, you'll visit the elephants at a local elephant sanctuary, where you can help feed these ever-hungry animals. A unique experience!
On your way back to Bangkok, you will stop at the world-famous bridge over the River Kwai. In Thailand during World War II, the Japanese wanted to build a railroad at record speed to supply their troops in Burma. The working conditions for civilian workers, prisoners of war and forced laborers were inhumane. The Burma Railway is therefore also called the Death Railway. The bridge made famous by the movie The Bridge on the River Kwai still exists and is a reminder of former times.
