Today’s destination is Khao Sok National Park, a truly must-see destination when you are in the south of Thailand. After a meet and greet at your hotel we start to make our way to this 160-million-year-old tropical rainforest. This splendid ecosystem holds more than 48 different mammal species such as wild elephants, monkeys, gibbons, deer, bears, more than 187 kinds of birds and thousands of kinds of butterflies and insects.
Upon arrival, you will be met by a mighty elephant to take you on an unforgettable jungle trek. Soak in the astonishing scenery of the spectacular hills and nature surrounding you. After the ride it’s time for a healthy, organic lunch at a local riverside restaurant. Following the lunch you will make a canoe trip down the river of Khao Sok. Here you will see stunning limestone cliffs towering high in the sky, covered with dense jungle. Furthermore you have a chance to experience a bit of the rural life of the locals living along the river before we transfer you back to your hotel in Phuket.
