Meet and greet at your hotel
You will drive via a local market to the elephant camp at “Tung La Korn” village and meet the staff and the elephants. Then it’s time to change your clothes for a real mahout suit. After that you will start the introduction of the mahout training course. In the course you will learn in basic elephant language, how to control and command the elephant. You will be trained to ride on its neck by using many different techniques. After lunch the trainer will let you control your elephant by yourself to the river and enjoy bathing and brushing your elephant. You will bring the elephant to the Mud Pool. Elephants love to play in it! After that a transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
