Day 1: Bangkok – Khao Yai National Park
Today you are leaving for one of the largest national parks in Thailand, the Khao Yai National Park. In the early morning a transfer from your hotel in Bangkok to the central bus station. From here you travel by local bus to Pak Chong.
Upon arrival, our guide is waiting for you to go to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Take a nice walk or enjoy the beautiful green surroundings from a vantage point.
Day 2: Khao Yai National Park
The adventure is about to begin! After breakfast, you will visit the Khao Yai National Park. Elephants and even some tigers still live in the park. In the morning you take a nature tour through which you will become more acquainted with the park. The walk ends at the large lookout tower in a more open area. With a bit of luck, you spot some animals, such as deer. After this time for a nutritious lunch near the park headquarters where there is also a small visitor center where you can take a look.
Then you visit the Haew Suwat waterfall. This waterfall is known in particular because part of the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo Di Caprio was shot here. The surroundings are beautiful and it is a wonderful place to rest and take in the beauty of perhaps Thailand’s most beautiful nature park. At 1188 meters, Khao Kiaw is the highest point in the park. The view is beautiful, especially when the sun sinks slowly. After the sunset, you go back to the hotel. If the weather conditions are good and the park supervisor gives permission, it is also possible to make an optional evening safari. With the help of special lamps, you get a unique look into the animal world. With a bit of luck, you can spot deer, cats, wild bears and even elephants.
Day 3: Khao Yai National Park – Bangkok
After breakfast, the morning is free. You then travel back to Bangkok by local bus. This tour ends at the Mo Chit bus station.
